1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how the DevOps & Cloud Interview Hub Android application (the "App"), published by techikrish (the "Developer", "we", "us", or "our"), handles information.
The App is a study companion that provides scenario-based interview questions and answers for DevOps and Cloud engineers. The content is bundled with the App and the App is designed to work fully offline. By installing or using the App, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal data. The App does not ask for an account, sign-in, name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personally identifiable information.
We also do not collect or transmit usage data, analytics, device identifiers, advertising IDs, or crash reports to any server controlled by us or by any third party.
3. Local data stored on your device
To remember your preferences between sessions, the App stores a small amount of data only on your device, using standard Android local storage. This may include:
- Your theme preference (dark or light mode).
- Bookmarks, favorites, or "mark as read" state for questions.
- The last domain or question you were viewing.
- Search filters or difficulty-level filters you have selected.
This data never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not synced or backed up to any server we operate.
You can clear all locally stored data at any time by going to Android Settings → Apps → DevOps & Cloud Interview Hub → Storage → Clear data, or by uninstalling the App.
4. Permissions
The App is designed to function without sensitive runtime permissions. It does not request access to the internet for content delivery, your contacts, location, microphone, camera, photos, files outside its own sandbox, SMS, call logs, or any other restricted Android permission.
If a future version of the App ever needs a new permission, this Privacy Policy will be updated to clearly describe what is requested and why, before that version is released on Google Play.
5. Third-party services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. There is no Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, AdMob, Meta SDK, or similar tooling embedded in the App.

6. Children's privacy
The App is intended for a general audience, including users under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). Because the App does not collect any personal data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The App contains no advertising, no in-app purchases targeted at children, and no social or chat features.
7. Data security
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no transmission of personal data to secure. The local preferences described above are stored within the App's private storage area, which is protected by the standard Android application sandbox provided by your device's operating system.
You are responsible for the security of your own device (for example, by using a screen lock and keeping Android up to date).
8. Your rights & choices
Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no profile, account, or server-side record for us to access, export, correct, or delete. You retain full control of all locally stored data:
- Access / view: the locally stored preferences are reflected in the App's UI itself.
- Delete: use Android's Clear data option for the App, or uninstall the App.
- Opt out of analytics or ads: there are none, so there is nothing to opt out of.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App's behavior changes in a future version. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. The most current version of this policy will always be available at this URL:

Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
